Mineral makeup (pigments) storage help? (10 points)?
I want to transfer my sample pigments from ziplock baggies into something else. I DO have clear cosmetic containers in 5 & 10 gram sizes. However, I found these awesome looking cases with what are called “gem jars”. I’d like to buy one of these an organize my pigments, however I have one concern…they are usually aluminum. Does anyone know if it’s alright to store loose mineral makeup in aluminum tins? I wasn’t sure if this could somehow change the elements of the pigments.

I’ve put my pigment samples in aluminum containers before and because they weren’t completely airtight I lost a lot of my pigment. But other than that it never affected the texture or the color payoff.
